It never ceases to amaze me what can be done with laminated wood, and how furniture companies make great use of it. Laminated wood is layers of hardwood that have been adhered together and can be bent to create great looking and extremely durable furniture. Emmemobile has given us the Coiba modern platform bed from designer Ballibio-Elli that has a very recessed support and a storage headboard all in a very low profile construction.
